Basketball Recap: Rustburg's Victory on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Rustburg entered their tilt with Heritage on Monday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Heritage Pioneers 42-22. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Red Devils have posted against the Pioneers since December 9, 2021.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Rustburg to victory, but perhaps none more so than Olivia Tyree, who posted 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Haven Grinstead, who put up nine points and five boards.

When it comes to explaining why Heritage lost, don't look at Tailor Coles. Despite the final result, she scored nine points. Another player making a difference was Dy'Nzah Alexander, who had three points.
