Soccer Recap: Buckingham Comes Up Short

Buckingham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 5-0 to the Prince Edward County Eagles. Buckingham were not able to make up for their loss to Prince Edward County from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Buckingham's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Prince Edward County, they pushed their record up to 6-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Buckingham has already played their next match, a 4-1 win against Cumberland on the 28th. As for Prince Edward County, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-2 victory against Nottoway on the 28th.
