Chatham is a perfect 5-0 against Galileo since April of 2024 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Cavaliers will take on the Falcons at 7:00 p.m. Chatham's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

While Chatham's victory against Dan River wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Cavaliers never let the Wildcats get on the board and left with a 1-0 win on Monday. Chatham haven't had any issues with Dan River recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Chatham's one-goal win came courtesy of Ariyana Bradley, who's now up to three this season.

Meanwhile, Galileo fell victim to Nelson County and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They came up short against the Governors, falling 9-0. The loss continues a trend for Galileo in their meetings with Nelson County: they've now lost six in a row.

Galileo's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9-1. As for Chatham, their win bumped their record up to 10-5.

Chatham was able to grind out a solid victory over Galileo when the teams last played back in April, winning 4-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cavaliers since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
