Murray County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sonoraville Phoenix. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Indians of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2023.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-16.

After both having extra time off, Murray County and Union County will shake off the cobwebs and challenge one another at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sonoraville, their road trip will continue as they head out to face North Cobb Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Cobb Christian is coming into the matchup with four straight wins at home, so Sonoraville will have to stop a squad with plenty of momentum.
