Basketball Recap: Madison Case Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Canajoharie

It was a proper cat-fight when Mayfield faced off against Canajoharie on Monday. The Mayfield Panthers were the clear victor by a 59-34 margin over the Canajoharie Cougars. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 24 points or more this season.

Mayfield's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Madison Case, who went 7 of 9 on her way to 14 points in addition to seven rebounds and four steals. The dominant performance gave Case a new career-high in points. Brianna Iannuzzi was another key player, putting up 19 points and seven boards.
