Volleyball Recap: Tracy Takes a Loss

Tracy lost against St. Mary back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bulldogs lost 3-0 to the Rams.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-16, 25-23.

When it comes to explaining why Tracy lost, don't look at Antonio Velarde. Despite the final result, he had 60 digs and five assists. Velarde is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had 15 or more in each of the last three games he's played dating back to last season.

Dylan Neves was a one-man wrecking crew For St. Mary's. as he had 20 digs and five aces.

Tracy's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for St. Mary's, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-11.

Tracy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against West on the 3rd. As for St. Mary's, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Lincoln on the 3rd.
