The win was the fourth in a row for Mountain View, bringing their record up to 13-11. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Shalhevet, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season.

Mountain View will face off against Pomona at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. The Red Devils' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Vikings' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Shalhevet does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
