Volleyball Recap: Prince Avenue Christian Comes Up Short

Prince Avenue Christian saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Grayson Rams. The Wolverines have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Emma Philo paced Prince Avenue Christian's offense, picking up six kills. Philo got some help from Ava Johnson and her ten assists. Philo was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Among those leading the charge was Laila Holley, who had five digs and three aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in September of 2024.

Prince Avenue Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Grayson, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Prince Avenue Christian has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Mill Creek on the 9th. As for Grayson, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Winder-Barrow on the 9th.
