Football Game Preview: Medfield Warriors vs. Millis Mohawks + Official Tickets

The Medfield Warriors will head out to challenge the Millis Mohawks at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Medfield will come into the game with an undefeated record on the line.

Millis better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if Medfield's game on Friday is any indication, that's when Medfield really gets things going. The Warriors claimed a resounding 34-6 win over Medway. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by 22 points or more this season.

Brady McCormack went supernova, rushing for 241 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.0 yards per carry. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in October of 2024.

McCormack was just one part of a punishing run game: Medfield was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 321 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Medway only rushed for 18.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 34 points the game before, Millis was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They were beaten by Bellingham 35-0. While losing is never fun, the Mohawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts football rankings (they are ranked 224th, while the Blackhawks are ranked 93rd).

Medfield's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Millis, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Medfield was able to grind out a solid win over Millis in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, winning 43-35. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
