Football Recap: Norland Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Norland kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They were just a hair shy of victory and fell 30-29 to the Lake Mary Rams. The Vikings were up 22 in the second, but they couldn't quite seal the deal.

A big part of Lake Mary's victory came down to the chemistry between Noah Grubbs and his top target Barrett Schulz. Grubbs threw for 154 yards and three TDs while Schulz picked up 42 receiving yards and three scores.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Norland will venture away from home to face off against Carol City at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lake Mary, they will head out to square off against Osceola at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
