Volleyball Recap: Cookeville Wins Going Away Against Lavergne

Cookeville not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since September 2nd (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on the LaVergne Wolverines with a sharp 3-0 win. The Cavaliers haven't had any issues with the Wolverines recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Cookeville's got stronger as the match went on, holding LaVergne to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-11, 25-10.

Katie Clark was the offensive standout of the contest as she had ten digs and four aces. That's the most digs she has posted over her last four matches. Another player making a difference was Ella Hardin, who had 19 assists.

Cookeville's win bumped their record up to 12-6. As for LaVergne, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.
