Hilmar had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2.7 goals) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They skirted past the Sonora Wildcats 3-2. That's two games straight that the Yellowjackets have won by just one goal.

Blake Vitorino and Marlo Coplyn-Torres scored all three of Hilmar's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.

Hilmar pushed their record up to 6-3-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored ten goals over those three matchups. As for Sonora, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-8.
