Soccer Game Preview: Abilene vs. Graham

The Abilene Eagles will head out on the road to challenge the Graham Steers at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Graham took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Abilene, who comes in off a win.

Abilene will bounce into Friday's contest after beating Duncanville, who they had gone 0-3 against in their three prior meetings. The Eagles sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Panthers and Pantherettes on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Graham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of Springtown. Surprisingly, this marked the fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor in this series.

Abilene's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Graham, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.
