Football Recap: South Atlanta Wins Going Away Against Stone Mountain

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Landmark Christian, South Atlanta was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 38-13 margin over the Stone Mountain Pirates. The high-scoring effort was just what the Hornets needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

South Atlanta's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Stone Mountain, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Atlanta will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Columbia at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. As for Stone Mountain, they will venture away from home to take on Salem at 7:30 p.m. on the 26th.
