Volleyball Recap: Elk Lake Comes Up Short

Elk Lake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Greater Nanticoke Area Trojans.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-14, 25-18.

Elk Lake's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Greater Nanticoke Area, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-4.

Coming up, Elk Lake is taking a road trip to face off against West Scranton at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Greater Nanticoke Area, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Crestwood at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Comets will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Trojans surely won't give up without a fight.
