After low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, Palisades brought some dynamite into their most recent game. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Northern Lehigh Bulldogs 10-9. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Pirates have posted since May 3, 2024.

Palisades let Jackson Butler and Ted Mussleman run wild. Butler scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4, while Mussleman went 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. Butler also brought in an RBI, marking his first of the season.

The victory snapped Palisades' losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-3 record. As for Northern Lehigh, they dropped their record down to 1-7 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Palisades will head out to take on Moravian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lions have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 17.57 runs per game on average), something the Pirates will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Northern Lehigh, they will head out on the road to face off against Jim Thorpe at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
