The Illinois Valley Cougars put the hurt on the Bandon Tigers with a sharp 67-47 victory. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 20 points or more this season.

With the win, Illinois Valley broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 9-6. As for Bandon, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Illinois Valley Cougars duke it out with the Gold Beach Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Gold Beach will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Illinois Valley surely won't give up without a fight.
