Basketball Recap: Big Valley Takes a Loss

Big Valley played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the Happy Camp Indians and fell 81-54. The Cardinals were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 49-15.

Despite the loss, Big Valley still got an impressive performance from Juan Flores, who went 6-for-14 en route to 17 points along with seven assists and four steals. Flores is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed four or more in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Trent Farber, who posted 17 points and five boards.

Big Valley has been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for Happy Camp, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-4.
