Resurrection posted their closest win since August 30th on Friday. They won by a set and slipped past the Latin Romans 2-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bandits also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Resurrection had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-16, 25-16.

Emily Hermann paced Resurrection's offense, picking up 15 kills. Hermann got some help from Chloe Warnke and her 23 assists.

Resurrection now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Latin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-9.

Resurrection didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Regina Dominican on the 22nd. As for Latin, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Francis W. Parker on the 20th.
