Volleyball Recap: Inderkum Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Inderkum lost against Rio Americano back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Tigers lost 3-0 to the Raiders. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Inderkum couldn't get the W, but boy did they fight for it: two sets took extra rallies. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-11, 26-24.

Katie Beever paced Inderkum's offense, picking up eight kills. Beever were helped by Kalynn Lorenson and Abigail HOnan, who contributed ten assists each. Finally, Kapri Marvin kept Inderkum's defense grounded, leading the team with five blocks.

Rio Americano found their leader in sophomore Emma Simmons, who had 12 digs and three aces. Simmons is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Inderkum's defeat dropped their record down to 14-18. As for Rio Americano, they pushed their record up to 30-10 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Inderkum will head out to square off against Pleasant Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rio Americano, they will be playing at home against Granite Bay at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
