Basketball Recap: Lanier Takes a Loss

Lanier and Morton squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Lanier had to settle for second. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 47-44 to the Morton Panthers, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Bulldogs have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.

Lanier's loss dropped their record down to 21-7. As for Morton, their win was their 13th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-7.

As of now, neither Lanier nor Morton have any future games scheduled.
