Basketball Game Preview: Friday Harbor Wolverines vs. Coupeville Wolves

Friday Harbor is on a four-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, Coupeville a five-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Tuesday. The Friday Harbor Wolverines will host the Coupeville Wolves at 5:30 p.m. The two teams are at an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2018, but likely not for long.

Friday Harbor is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Granite Falls on Saturday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Friday Harbor was beaten by Granite Falls 80-50. The Wolverines were down 61-31 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Meanwhile, Coupeville was just a bucket shy of victory on Saturday and fell 60-59 to Wahkiakum.

Coupeville's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Friday Harbor, their loss dropped their record down to 0-9.
