Western had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They secured a 53-49 W over the Flowers Jaguars on Tuesday. The victory was familiar territory for Western, who have now won 14 games in a row.

Several Jaguars players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Alana Joy, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kyla Graham, who posted 11 points and six steals.

Western's win bumped their record up to 22-3. As for Flowers, the defeat snapped their winning streak at 17 games and leaves them with a 22-3 record.

Coming up, Western will face off against North Point at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. North Point will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something Western surely won't give up without a fight. Flowers does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
