Rock Port extended their winning streak to nine games thanks to a huge performance from Jack Meyerkorth. The Rock Port Blue Jays blew past the Stanberry Bulldogs 61-31 on Wednesday which was due in part to Meyerkorth, who went 9-for-22 on his way to 21 points and seven steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Rock Port's points.

Another player making a difference was Reid Ellis, who posted eight points and ten rebounds. He has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more boards the last ten times he's played.

Rock Port's win bumped their record up to 23-4. As for Stanberry, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-16.

Coming up, Rock Port will challenge Platte Valley co-op [South Nodaway/Jefferson] at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Stanberry does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
