Baseball Recap: Kennedy Comes Up Short

Kennedy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They fell 6-1 to the Poly Parrots. That's two games in a row now that the Golden Cougars have lost by exactly five runs.

Kennedy saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nathen Infante, who went 1-for-2 with one run. Jose Gutierrez also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Kennedy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Poly, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

While Kennedy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
