They never let the East St. John Wildcats get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory on Friday. The win was a breath of fresh air for Thomas Jefferson as it put an end to their ten-game losing streak.

Anthony Rivera made a splash no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over five innings pitched. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had over his last four matchups. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, Thomas Jefferson got a big performance out of Liam Arceneaux, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Those three runs gave Arceneaux a new career-high. Jaycee Guidroz was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
