Volleyball Recap: Brooklyn Komnick Key Part of Team Effort in Spartans Win

Olympia lost to Delavan back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Spartans walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Panthers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Spartans.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Olympia took both sets by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-14.

Olympia got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Brooklyn Komnick out in front who had six digs, two aces, and one block. The team also got some help courtesy of Aubrey Rycyzyn, who had nine digs and two aces.

Olympia now has a winning record of 17-16. As for Delavan, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-26 record this season.
