Baseball Game Preview: Jesuit Crusaders vs. Tualatin Timberwolves

The Jesuit Crusaders will head out on the road to face off against the Tualatin Timberwolves at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Jesuit's pitching crew has only allowed 2.7 runs per game this season, so Tualatin's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Jesuit's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over Mountain View. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Crusaders.

Tualatin hadn't beaten Canby on the road since April 16, 2019 but that history sure didn't bother them on Wednesday. The Timberwolves walked away with a 3-0 victory over the Cougars.

Jesuit's win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-2. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Tualatin, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2-1 record this season.
