Basketball Recap: Bowne Takes a Loss

Bowne was the 55-54 winner over Forest Hills when they last played one another last Monday, but their luck changed this time around. The Bowne Wildcats received a blow on Tuesday as they fell 57-39 to the Forest Hills Rangers. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 468th, while the Rangers are ranked 100th).

Bowne now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Forest Hills, they pushed their record up to 15-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

When Bowne and Forest Hills next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Bowne will try to stop Eagle Academy II's three-game winning streak when the meet at 3:30 p.m. on February 21st. Meanwhile, Forest Hills will challenge Eagle Academy III and their six-game winning streak at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
