Moody extended their winning streak to five on Wednesday, bumping them up to 28-15-1. They never let the Northside Rams get on the board and left with a 2-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Blue Devils, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

As for Northside, their loss ended an 11-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 39-12-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat they have suffered since April 3rd.

For Northside's part, Avery Patton spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on three hits.

On the hitting side, Northside saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caroline Jones, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one double.

As of now, neither Moody nor the Rams have any future games scheduled.
