The Dorchester Longhorns are taking a road trip to face off against the Twin River Titans at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Dorchester is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.
On Friday, Dorchester came up short against Silver Lake and fell 3-1.

Meanwhile, Twin River suffered their biggest defeat since September 4th on Monday. They came up short against Bruning-Davenport/Shickley, falling 3-0.
Twin River took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-14, 25-19.
Twin River's loss dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Dorchester, they now have a losing record of 9-10.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Thursday's matchup: Dorchester has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 6.5 aces per game. However, it's not like Twin River struggles in that department as they've been averaging 4.9 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
Everything went Dorchester's way against Twin River when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as Dorchester made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Longhorns since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
