Basketball Recap: Monument/Dayville Comes Up Short

Monument/Dayville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 33-13 to the Vernonia Loggers. The contest marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Monument/Dayville's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Vernonia, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

Monument/Dayville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Vernonia, they will venture away from home to challenge Neah-Kah-Nie at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
