After flying high against Coventry Christian on Monday, High Point Baptist Academy came back down to earth. The Eagles fell just short of the Mount Calvary Christian Chargers by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. The Eagles' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

High Point Baptist Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bradon Howe, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

High Point Baptist Academy's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 8-4. As for Mount Calvary Christian, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.
