Basketball Recap: Hamilton Skates Past Chandler with Ease

In Tuesday's Canine Competition, Hamilton came out on top. They took their game on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 70-42 victory over the Chandler Wolves. The win continues a trend for the Huskies in their matchups with the Wolves: they've now won six in a row.

Taylor Sipfle continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 8-for-9 on her way to 19 points and seven boards. She is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as she's posted one of at least 50% in the last 16 games she's played. Destinee Benway was another key player, putting up ten points in addition to five assists and five rebounds.

Hamilton was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. They racked up six more assists than Chandler's also-impressive total of ten.

Chandler's loss came despite strong showings from Marley Perez and Markayla Shirley. Perez went 7-for-13 en route to 19 points, while Shirley posted 14 points.

Hamilton's record is now 15-11. As for Chandler, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 12 contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 11-12 record this season.

Hamilton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Chandler, they have already played their next matchup, a 51-47 defeat against Perry on the 12th.
