Softball Recap: De Pere Redbirds vs. Denmark Vikings
De Pere posted their closest win since April 19th on Friday. They skirted past the Denmark Vikings 5-4. This was payback for the Redbirds, who suffered a 12-7 loss the last time these two teams met.
Reese Falish tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out eight over 4.2 innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances.
