Basketball Recap: Albertville Now 12-1 over Last 13 Games

Albertville extended their home winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from Lani Smallwood. Everything went the Albertville Aggies' way against the Huntsville Panthers on Tuesday as the Albertville Aggies made off with a 46-20 win thanks in part to Smallwood, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten boards. She has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last eight times she's played.

Another player making a difference was Dana Fuentes, who posted six points. That's the most points she has posted since back in November of 2024.

Albertville is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 24-3 record this season. As for Huntsville, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-13.

Albertville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 67-62 victory against Sparkman on the 24th. Huntsville has also already played their next contest, a 51-32 win against Grissom on the 24th.
