Soccer Recap: Rappahannock County Takes a Loss

Rappahannock County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Madison County Mountaineers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Madison County this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 back in April.

Rappahannock County's goal came courtesy of Aiden Stoner, who's now up to 13 this season.

Rappahannock County's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Madison County, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6-1 record this season.

Rappahannock County didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 6-2 defeat against Stonewall Jackson on the 23rd. As for Madison County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Clarke County on the 23rd.
