Softball Recap: St. Benedict at Auburndale Picks Up Ninth Straight Win at Home

St. Benedict at Auburndale put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the North Pike Jaguars with a sharp 13-3 victory. The match marked the Eagles' most dominant win of the season so far.

Sadie Quinteros and Zoie Bernard did most of the damage at the plate: Quinteros went a perfect 4-for-4 with five RBI, two doubles, and one triple, while Bernard went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most hits Bernard has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Olivia Evans, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones working in the hit department: St. Benedict at Auburndale kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
