Volleyball Recap: Rocky Mount Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Rocky Mount was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Northern Nash Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 19-25, 25-8, 25-21.

Lilly Teets was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 11 aces and four digs. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in kills (two).

Rocky Mount's defeat dropped their record down to 2-19. As for Northern Nash, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

Coming up, Rocky Mount will challenge Hunt at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Warriors will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Gryphons surely won't give up without a fight. As for Northern Nash, they will welcome Fike at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
