Softball Recap: St. Paul Cardinals vs. Brentwood Christian Bears
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Sacred Heart, St. Paul was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the Brentwood Christian Bears by a score of 10-6.
For Brentwood Christian's part, Joy Wilson was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring three runs while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Hailyn Counts, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in two of her four plate appearances.
St. Paul now has a winning record of 4-3-1. As for Brentwood Christian, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-13.
