West Plains is 5-0 against Dumas since January of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The West Plains Wolves will challenge the Dumas Demons at 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

West Plains is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Randall just ended the team's six-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell to the Raiders 54-48. While losing is never fun, the Wolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 250th, while the Raiders are ranked 55th).

Meanwhile, after soaring to 85 points the game before, Dumas was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They were dealt a 62-18 loss at the hands of Canyon. The game marked the Demons' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Dumas' defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 13-14. As for West Plains, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-11.

West Plains strolled past Dumas in their previous meeting on January 7th by a score of 54-40. The rematch might be a little tougher for West Plains since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
