It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Pineville had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Parkway Panthers an 8-0 shutout. The Rebels might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 contests by three goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Parkway from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Cooper Smith led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by himself.

Pineville's win bumped their record up to 16-1-2. As for Parkway, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12-2 record this season.

As of now, neither Pineville nor Parkway have any future games scheduled.
