White Oak is 9-1 against Northside - Jacksonville since March of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The White Oak Vikings will be playing in front of their home fans against the Northside - Jacksonville Monarchs at 6:00 p.m. White Oak is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.5 runs per game this season.

On Monday, White Oak needed a bit of extra time to put away Jacksonville. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Cardinals, sneaking past 7-6.

Alyssa Carkhuff was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She pitched 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. What's more, she posted five strikeouts, the most she's had since back in April of 2024. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-2.

In other batting news, Gracie Tompkins was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing Three bases. while going 2-for-3. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in March of 2024.

Meanwhile, Northside - Jacksonville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 21st straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 23-1 to Heide Trask. Having soared to a lofty 20 runs in the game before, the Monarchs couldn't push the score so high this time.

White Oak's victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-2. As for Northside - Jacksonville, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Everything went White Oak's way against Northside - Jacksonville in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, as White Oak made off with a 16-1 win. Will White Oak repeat their success, or does Northside - Jacksonville have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
