Soccer Recap: Hamilton Takes Down Ranked Basha

On Wednesday, Hamilton faced Basha in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Hamilton Huskies came out on top in a nail-biter against the Basha Bears, sneaking past 2-1. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but the Huskies were the better team in the second half.

Hamilton has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3-1 record this season. As for Basha, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-4.

Hamilton will face off against Eastmark at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Eastmark will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Hamilton surely won't give up without a fight. As for Basha, they will square off against Sunnyslope at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Basha is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.3 goals per game this season.
