Basketball Recap: L.E.A.D. Academy Lions vs. Bethlehem Wildcats
It was a proper cat-fight when L.E.A.D. Academy duked it out withBethlehem on Monday. The L.E.A.D. Academy Lions had to suffer through a 66-34 loss at the hands of the Bethlehem Wildcats. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 76-21 back in November of 2024.

Several Lions players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Silas Brown, who posted 12 points. Those 12 points gave Brown a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Andrew Holcomb, who scored eight points.

L.E.A.D. Academy has traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-16 record this season. As for Bethlehem, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-2.
L.E.A.D. Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 56-28 win against South Baldwin Christian Academy on the 25th. As for Bethlehem, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 58-42 victory against Sneads on the 25th.
