Softball Recap: Brooks Comes Up Short

If Brooks was feeling good fresh off their 14-2 takedown of Back of the Yards College Prep on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Brooks came up short against Lindblom on Tuesday, falling 14-4. Brooks was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Lindblom earlier this season, when they won 14-4.

Brooks' loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Lindblom, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-6.

Looking ahead, Brooks will face off against Back of the Yards College Prep at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bobcats have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.75 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Lindblom, they will venture away from home to take on Chicago Washington at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
