Basketball Recap: Polo Takes a Loss

Polo lost against Eastland back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Polo Marcos were outmatched by the Eastland Cougars and fell 92-37. The Marcos were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-22.

Polo has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season. As for Eastland, their win was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 22-3.

Polo didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 56-51 victory against Ashton-Franklin Center on the 6th. As for Eastland, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 56-16 win against Milledgeville on the 6th.
