Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Andrean walked away with it. They came out on top against the Hanover Central Wildcats by a score of 5-2 on Monday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 11-5 two weeks ago.

The victory made it two in a row for Andrean and bumps their season record up to 27-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3 runs in those games. As for Hanover Central, they moved to 22-8 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Andrean will take on Highland on Saturday. The Fighting 59ers will need to watch out since the Trojans have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matchups. Hanover Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
