Baseball Recap: Berkeley Takes a Loss

Berkeley was the 7-1 winner over Acalanes when they last played one another back in March of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Yellowjackets came up short against the Dons on Wednesday, falling 10-1.

Berkeley saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chase Worthington, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Berkeley now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Acalanes, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-2-1.

Looking ahead, Berkeley will square off against Bishop O'Dowd at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Acalanes, they will head out to face off against Benicia at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers' pitching crew has only allowed 2.9 runs per game this season, so the Dons' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
