Basketball Recap: Eastern Guilford Has No Trouble Against Northeast Guilford

Eastern Guilford's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They took down the Northeast Guilford Rams 54-39. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 60-41 back in December of 2024.

Several Rams players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jt Tatum, who posted eight points and three steals. Anaya Pearley was another key player, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 14 rebounds.

Eastern Guilford's win bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Northeast Guilford, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eastern Guilford will face off against High Point Central at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Northeast Guilford, they will take on Southern Guilford at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
